WEEK 2...MONDAY 14TH OCTOBER 2024

Week 2 and it was the Challenge format last night with six singles and three doubles.
On table one Counter Hitters had a good 6-3 win over The Terriers and it was super sub Mick Minns who came out as player of the match with an unbeaten 3 points. His support came from 2 points from Paul Waterman while Tony Trayford added the final point. Janice Howell scored 2 points for The Terriers while Eileen Needham added the final point.
On table two a big win for Coastal Crusaders who had Leigh McDonald and super sub Graham Keeley both winning all their singles and doubles and Phil Ball added the final 2 points. Unfortunately it was only Jeff Race who could get on the scorecard for The Inlaws with a singles win over Phil.
On table three another big win this time Heacham Knights were the team who were in great form beating Hunnys Heroes 8-1. Mick Forth and Kevin Saunders were both in form going unbeaten in their singles and doubles and Sam Pishorn did well adding the final 2 points. Hunnys Heroes missed their number one Alfie Yarrow as Dad Rob and Mark Lees failed to get on the scorecard, Kerry Smith got their 1 point.
So after 2 weeks it is Counter Hitters and Heacham Knights taking the top two places both on 12 points.
Next week we are back to the Normal format.
