28...MONDAY 12TH MAY 2025
Another brilliant season ended last
night and final league table is below
along with last nights match results.
We knew the Champions were Counter
Hitters but with just last nights
matches to be played there was only 2
points between second place Heacham
Knights and third place Coastal
Crusaders so all to play for,
On table one Heacham Knights regulars
Kevin Saunders and Mick Forth were
joined by super sub Mike Cooper and they
were up against The Inlaws trio of
Stephen Jackson, Paul Barrett and Jeff
Race. The Knights knew they had to pull
out all the stops and that is what they
did, it was the challenge format of six
singles and three doubles and the
Knights came away with a brilliant 9-0
win and with it secured runners-up
place!
On table two it was The Terriers
against Coastal Crusaders. The Crusaders
trio of Leigh McDonald, Bob Richardson
and Phil Ball knew they needed maximum
points to stand a chance of runners up
spot and that is what they did a 9-0 win
over the Terriers but it was not to be
as The Knights matched their score on
the next table.
On table three Counter Hitters the
league champions ended the season in
fine style with a 8-1 win over Adrian's
Allstars. Finlay Hewson and Paul
Waterman added more maximums to their
seasons tally and Tim Atkinson added the
final two points. For the Allstars it
was Mike Nobes the lone scorer with a
win over Tim.
Next Monday is the first of the end of
season competitions, all details of next
Mondays matches are below last nights
scorecards.

played over 2 sessions on Monday
19th May.
Session 1 (with a 6pm start if
possible)

1 point per end won.
Top 2 players will progress to the quarter finals of the Open.
Remaining players will progress to the quarter finals of the Plate.
Session 2 (with a 7:30pm start if possible)

All games will be 3 end matches.
1 point per end won.
Top 2 players will progress to the quarter finals of the Open.
Remaining players will progress to the quarter finals of the Plate.

All games will be 2 end matches.
1 point per end won.
Top 3 players will progress to the quarter finals of the Open.
Remaining players will progress to the quarter finals of the Plate
Sam Pishorn & Tim Atkinson will join the Plate competition at the later
stage as they are unavailable to
play on the
19th.
Quarter Finals (and semi final matches) will be played on Monday 2nd June
(No Table Tennis on the 26th May
Bank Holiday)
