Counter Hitters start to move up the table after a big win last night.
On table one Counter Hitters had Finlay Hewson back in action and he went unbeaten as did Paul Waterman and with Tim Atkinson adding a further 2 points they beat The Terriers 8-1 and move into third place. The Inlaws point came from a win for Janice Howell over Tim.
On table two a closer match when league leaders The Inlaws edged home 5-4 over Coastal Crusaders. The Inlaws Stephen Jackson was player of the match going unbeaten in both his singles and doubles games. Alexi Eon added 1.5 points and Paul Barrett chipped in with the final 0.5 point. This means The Inlaws are 2 points clear of Coastal Crusaders and 5 points clear of third place Counter Hitters.
On table three another close match when Heacham Knights beat Hunnys Heroes 5-4. No player could keep a clean sheet. For the Knights Mick Forth 2 points, Kevin Saunders and Sam Pishorn 1.5 points. For The Heroes Alfie Yarrow 2.5 points, Rob Yarrow 1 point and Mark Lees 0.5 point.
