The league re-commenced last night after the Christmas break. Once again some hard fought enjoyable matches to start off the second half of the season.
On table 0ne Adrian's Allstars edged home 5-4 against the Inlaws. Mick Minns and Trevor Mason had two wins each for the Allstars while Charley Hammond chipped in with a win over Alexi Eon. However the star performance came from The Inlaws Jim Race who had a great maximum which included a thrilling five ender to start off the match when he beat Mick 11-8 in the fifth end. Jeff Race added the final point with a good win over Charley.
On table two it was Counter Hitters who had a 5-4 win over Hunnys Heroes and this means they stay top of the league. Once again it was Finlay Hewson who did the main damage with yet another clean sheet including a four end win over Alfie Yarrow. His support came from Paul Waterman with two wins. For the Heroes Alfie had two wins, while Dad  Rob had a win over Tim Atkinson as did Kerry Smith.
On table three second place Coastal Crusaders had a 5-4 win over Heacham Knights. Leigh McDonald had a fine maximum but was pushed all the way in the first game of the match when he beat Mick Forth 12-10 in the fifth end. Leigh's support came from a win each for Melissa McDonald and Phil Ball who both beat Sam Pishorn. For the Knights it was two wins each for Kevin Saunders and Mick.
Counter Hitters are 5 points clear of Coastal Crusaders but have played one more match so all very close at the top.
