WEEK 3...MONDAY 21ST OCTOBER 2024

It was week three in the league last night and it was back to the normal format. With two 5-4 results and one 6-3.
On table 1 it was Counter Hitters who edged home 5-4 against Heacham Knights. It was welcome back to Finlay Hewson who was it great form going unbeaten while he had good support from Paul Waterman with two wins only losing out to Kevin Saunders. For the Knights it was 2 wins for Kevin and a single win each for Mick Forth and Sam Pishorn both having got the better of Tim Atkinson.
On Table 2 the second 5-4 win when Hunnys Heroes edged home against Adrian's Allstars. It was the Heroes number one Alfie Yarrow keeping a clean sweep and his support came from Kerry Smith (welcome back Kerry) with 2 wins. For the Allstars Mike Nobes top scored with 2 wins and his support came from a win each for Trevor Mason and Jim Duncan who both beat Mark Lees (welcome to the league Mark).
On Table 3 The Terriers had some close games but came out winners 6-3 over The Inlaws. The Terriers number one Graham Keeley was another player in top form as he went unbeaten, his support came from Stephen Hunt 2 wins and Janice Howell 1 win over Alexi Eon (welcome to the league Alexi). For The Inlaws Paul Barrett was getting back in form after not playing for a while and had 2 wins and Stephen Jackson added the final point.
It was nice to see some new players in the league and retuning players.
