24...MONDAY 7TH APRIL 2025
After last nights matches Counter
Hitters extend their lead at the top of
the table as Coastal Crusaders have a
free week.
On table one it was a 6-3 win for the
Hitters over Heacham Knights. Maximum
points once again for Finlay Hewson 3
points and he had good support from Paul
Waterman 2.5 points and Tony Trayford
chipped in with 0-5 point. For the
Knights it was 1.5 points each from Mick
Forth and Sam Pishorn. The Hitters are
now 19 points clear of second place
Coastal Crusaders but the Crusaders have
a match in hand.
On table two a massive win for Hunnys
Heroes who could do no wrong when they
beat Adrian's Allstars 9-0. The Heroes
trio were Alfie and Rob Yarrow and Kerry
Smith. The Allstars trio of Mick Minns,
Mike Nobes and Jim Duncan could not get
on the scorecard but Mike did push Kerry
all the way losing 11-9 in the fifth
end.
On table three another 6-3 win when The
Terriers beat The Inlaws. Graham Keeley
kept a clean sheet 3 points with good
support from Stephen Hunt 2.5 points and
Eileen Needham 0.5 point. For The Inlaws
it was 1.5 points each for Stephen
Jackson and Alexi Eon.
Next week back to the normal format.
Don't forget to enter all the end of
season competitions.
Dates are as follows:
Open singles qualifiers on 19th May and
2nd June (no TT on Bank Holiday Monday).
Handicap Singles qualifiers on 9th and
16th June.
Hard Bat Doubles qualifiers on 23rd
June.
All finals to take place at Presentation
Evening Monday 30th June.
If there are any of the qualifier dates
for open and or handicap that you can’t
play but can play the alternate date,
please state so against your name on
