It was the normal format of 9 singles last night and once again some big score lines as Coastal Crusaders close the gap at the top of the table.
On table one Heacham Knights had a big 8-1 win over The Inlaws. Two super subs were called in and Alfie Yarrow and Mike Cooper did not let the side down. Alfie had a fine maximum while Mike had 2 wins, with regular team member Kevin Saunders notching up another maximum. Stephen Jackson was the only Inlaws player to get on the score card with a win over Mike. This result virtually secures third place in the league for the Knights.
On table two Coastal Crusaders improved their chances of still being able to win the league as they narrowed the gap to just 9 points after their 8-1 win over The Terriers. Leigh McDonald and Bob Richardson both went unbeaten and Phil Ball added the final 2 points. For The Terriers it was only Janice Howell who could save the whitewash when she beat Phil Ball in a hard fought five ender.
On table three player of the match came from the losing side when Adrian's Allstars Mick Minns had a great maximum against league leaders Counter Hitters as his side went down 6-3. For the Hitters Paul Waterman, Ian Rix and Tony Trayford all added 2 points with then all losing to Mick.
