Counter Hitters increase their lead at the top of the table but two other teams are still in with a chance.
On table one Counter Hitters had a 6-3 win over The Terriers with Paul Waterman being the star player with a fine maximum. Ian Rix gave him good support with 2 wins while Tony Trafford added the final point with a win over Eileen Needham in four close ends. For The Terriers Graham Keeley came away with 2 wins while Stephen Hunt added a win over Tony in five ends.
On table two it was the other two teams fighting for the title. Coastal Crusaders came out on top when they beat The Inlaws 6-3. Maximums for both Leigh McDonald and Jeff Chung did all the damage. For The Inlaws it was a single win each for Stephen Jackson, Paul Barrett and Jim Race who all beat Richard Loades Wilson.
On table three the only 5-4 result when Hunnys Heroes edged home over Heacham Knights. Once again another Maximum for Alfie Yarrow and his support came from super sub Mick Minns with 2 wins. For the Knights Mick Forth came away with 2 wins while Kevin Saunders and Reece Wells both had a win over Mark Lees.
