Last night it was the challenge format
of 6 singles and 3 doubles. The top two
teams Counter Hitters and Coastal
Crusaders both had 7-2 wins so still
stay in the same positions with 4 points
separating them. They are now so far
ahead of third place Heacham Knights and
The Terriers both on 60 points and 21
points behind second place Coastal
Crusaders it must now be a two horse
race for the title.
On table one Counter Hitters had Finlay
Hewson again going unbeaten in both his
singles and doubles, gaining 3 points, with good
support from Ian Rix 2.5 points and Tony
Trayford 1.5 points. Their opponents The
Terriers who had Stephen Hunt adding 1.5
points and Eileen Needham 0.5 points for
their 2 points.
On table two Coastal Crusaders beat The
Inlaws 7-2 with Bob Richardson top
scoring with 3 points while Phil Ball
and super sub Mick Minns both added 2
points. For The Inlaws Paul Barrett and
Jim Race added 1 point each for their 2
points.
On table three it was a 6-3 win for
Heacham Knights over Hunnys Heroes. For
the Knights it was 2 points each for all
team members Mick Forth, Kevin Saunders
and Sam Pishorn. For the Heroes Alfie
Yarrow 2 points and Kerry Smith 1 point.
Next week it is back to the normal
format.

starts and also the friendly Monday
morning session from 9.15 to 11.15am in
