WEEK 27...MONDAY 5TH MAY 2025

With just one week to go second place in the league is still up for grabs with just 2 points separating Heacham Knights who moved into second place last night after their 6-3 win. Coastal Crusaders lost second place when they went down 7-2 to league champions Counter Hitters.
On table one The Terriers had a narrow 5-4 win over Hunnys Heroes. Stephen Hunt and Graham Keeley both added 2 points while Janice Howell had a single win over Mark Lees. For the Heroes it was Alfie Yarrow who was player of the match with a fine maximum while Dad Rob added a point with a win over Janice.
On table two Heacham Knights beat Adrian's Allstars 6-3. Mick Forth led the way for the Knights with another maximum while Kevin Saunders added 2 points and Sam Pishorn 1 point. For the Allstars it was Mick Minns 2 points and Charley Hammond 1 point.
On table three league champions Counter Hitters had an impressive win over second place Coastal Crusaders 7-2. This meant the Crusaders slip down to third place 2 points behind Heacham Knights with just one match to play. Finlay Hewson and Paul Waterman both showed no mercy coming away with maximums while Tony Trayford had a win over Phil Ball. For the Crusaders Leigh McDonald and Bob Richardson both had a win over Tony.
So with just one more week to go to complete the league who will take that runners up place and if I was a betting man my money would be on the Knights.
Next week it is the Challenge format.
Don't forget although the league finishes next week there are all the end of season competitions following over the next few Mondays.
