HEACHAM INTERNAL TABLE TENNIS LEAGUE
RESULTS/TABLES/REPORTS
WEEK
15...MONDAY 23RD FEBRUARY 2026
Last night it was back to the Normal
format of nine singles. The big match of
the night was when the top two teams met
and as a result Counter Hitters last
seasons champions went into top place
when they beat The Inlaws.
On table one Coastal Crusaders the third
placed team had a 6-3 win over Hunnys
Heroes and with it stay in third place.
Leigh McDonald, Bob Richardson and Phil
Ball all had 2 wins each. Once again the
player of the match came from the losing
side when the Heroes star was Alfie
Yarrow with a fine maximum. He was
pushed all the way by Leigh with a fifth
end score of 10-12 to Alfie.
On table two it was the big one when
second place and last years champions
beat league leaders The Inlaws 7-2. The
Hitters maximum man Finlay Hewson once
again went unbeaten and he was joined by
Ian Rix who also kept a clean sheet
while Tony Trafford chipped in with a
single win. The Inlaws points came from
Jim Race and Paul Barrett who both beat
Tony. Hitters are now top with 3 points
gap between them and The Inlaws with the
Crusaders in third place a further 2
points below The Inlaws.
On table three another 7-2 score when
The Terriers hit form against Adrian's
Allstars. The Terriers maximum man was
Stephen Hunt who had good support from
Graham Keeley and Janice Howell who both
had 2 wins each. For the Allstars it was
only Mick Minns who could get on the
score sheet with wins over Graham and
Janice. |
