WEEK 5...MONDAY 30TH OCTOBER 2023

Another great evening of table tennis last night in Heacham Public Hall.
On table one The Terriers marched on with another win, this time a very close 5-4 win over last years champions Heacham Knights. Star of the match was The Terriers Benji Richardson who had a fine maximum including an epic battle with the Knights Mick Forth. A classic five ender 11-7, 11-6, 8-11, 7-11 & 17-15. Graham Keeley added the final 2 points. For The Knights Mick won 2, and Ollie Loades and Chris Griggs both had a win over Barry Lemel.
On table two The Inlaws trio of Stephen and Aaron Jackson and Ron Kendal had a 6-3 win over Coastal Crusaders line up of Bob Richardson, Phill Ball and Super Sub Eileen Needham. Stephen had a good maximum, while Aaron had two wins and Ron added the final point. The Crusaders points came from Bob Richardson 2 wins and for Eileen a win over Ron.
On table three a 6-3 win for the much improved Adrian's Allstars. Mick Minns, Charley Hammond and Trevor Mason all had two wins each for their six points. But nobody could stop Paul Waterman from getting a fine maximum for all his teams points.
Next week the challenge format.
