With just five more weeks to go to the end of the league will the league table be as it is now is it a step to far to alter the placings?
One table one Counter Hitters dynamic duo Finlay Hewson and Paul Waterman once again went unbeaten with Finlay not dropping an end in their 7-2 win over The Terriers. Tim Atkinson added the final point and it was his first win of the season and he beat Janice Howell in a hard fought five ender finishing 12-10 in each of the final ends. For the Terriers Stephen Hunt and Graham Keeley both had a win over Tim.
On table two second place Coastal Crusaders had a 6-3 win over The Inlaws but still slipped a further point behind league leaders Counter Hitters. It was a maximum for the Crusaders Leigh McDonald his support came from Bob Richardson 2 wins and Phil Ball 1 win. For the Inlaws Paul Barrett had 2 wins and Stephen Jackson had a win over Phil.
On table three Heacham Knights had a 7-2 win over Hunnys Heroes with Kevin Saunders and Mick Forth both getting maximums while Sam Pishorn had a win over Mark Lees. For the Heroes unfortunately Alfie Yarrow had to retire after his first match as he did not feel well. Fortunately Mick Minns was able to step in and had a win over Sam. Kerry Smith added their second point with a win over Sam.
Counter Hitters are now 13 points clear of Coastal Crusaders in second place who are 11 points clear of Heacham Knights in third place.
