WEEK 7 MONDAY 13th NOVEMBER 2023

Another great night of table tennis in the hall with all three matches very close with every scorecard finishing up 5-4.
On table one it was a close win for The Inlaws 5-4 over Adrian's Allstars. This win puts them closer to top spot as they are now just 7 points adrift. It was a good all round performance with Stephen and Aaron Jackson both winning two games while Ron Kendal added the final point. It was the man of the match who came from the losing side as Mick Minns had a great maximum which began with an epic 5 end win over Stephen winning the final end 12-10. Mick's support came from a win by Mike Nobes over Ron.
On table two Coastal Crusaders won 5-4 against Heacham Knights who were without their number one Mick Forth. Leigh McDonald was the star act for The Crusaders with a fine maximum which also started off with a five end win over Kevin Saunders. Bob Richardson gave good support winning two games just losing out to Kevin in four ends. For the Knights Kevin had two wins while Ollie Loades and Chris Griggs both had a win over Phil Ball.
On table three league leaders lost valuable points when they went down 5-4 to Counter Hitters. Star player of the match was The Terriers Benji Richardson with a great maximum. He started like the previous two maximums of the evening with a hard fought five ender over Paul Waterman winning 11-9 in the fifth end. Captain Graham Keeley for a change only added one point to the scorecard. For the Hitters Paul finished up with two wins and the in form Ian Rix also had two wins while Tony Trayford added the final point.
With The Terriers losing 5-4 and The Inlaws winning 5-4 the gap at the top changed as all teams are closing in on each other.
Next week back to Challenge Format.
