After last weeks free week as the hall was booked for blood donors it was back to league action last night with the normal format.
On table one it was a big win for The Inlaws as they beat Heacham Knights 8-1 who were without their number one Mick Forth. It was only Kevin Saunders who could get on the score sheet as Ollie Loads and super sub Jack Pishorn struggled to get on terms with the strong Inlaws side. The Inlaws Paul Barrett and Stephen Jackson both went unbeaten while Jim Race added two points just losing to Kevin in a close five ender with the final game 12-10 to Kevin.
On table two a close result as the new league leaders Coastal Crusaders edged home 5-4 against third place The Terriers. Leigh McDonald had a fine maximum and his support came from a win each for Melissa McDonald and Phil Ball over Eileen Needham. For The Terriers it was two wins each for Graham Keeley and Stephen Hunt.
On table three it was another close match as Adrian's Allstars just edged home 5-4 against last weeks league leaders Counter Hitters who now drop down to second place. But it was the Hitters Finlay Hewson who continued his fine form with yet another maximum with Paul Waterman chipping in with a single point with a win over Charley Hammond. For the Allstars it was two wins each for Mick Minns and Trevor Mason while Charley added the final point with a win over Tim Atkinson,
Next week it is the Challenge format.
