Another great night last night with the usual close games.

On table one league leaders Counter Hitters lost valuable points when they went down 5-4 to a determined performance by Heacham Knights. No player could keep a clean sheet. This included five 5 Enders showing how close this match was. For the Knights Kevin Saunders and Mick Forth both came away with 2 wins each while Sam Pishorn chipped in with a win over Tim Atkinson. For the Hitters it was 2 wins each for Paul Waterman and Ian Rix. The Hitters still stay in top spot but only by 3 points.

On table two another 5-4 result when Adrian’s Allstars mainly super subs team beat Hunnys Heroes 5-4. Charley Hammond 2 points while super subs Bob Richardson and Alexi Eon won 2 points and 1 point respectively. Once again the maximum man came from the losing side when Alfie Yarrow continued his good form with another fine maximum with Dad Rob chipping in with a win over Alexi. We welcome super sub Jeannie Cammack to the league.

On table three The Inlaws closed the gap at the top of the table when they beat The Terriers 7-2 where the score does not reflect how close the games where with four 4 Enders and two 5 Enders. Maximums for Paul Barrett and Stephen Jackson did the main damage with Jim Race adding a point with a win over Janice Howell. For The Terriers both Graham Keeley and Stephen Hunt had a win each over Jim for their 2 points.
