Message from Jim & Stephen
Well done everyone involved in tonight’s hard bats doubles competition.
Some really exciting closely fought group games as well as the semi finals.
Congratulations to Paul Waterman/Tim Atkinson and Steve Hunt / Phil Ballpairings who won
through to next weeks finals.
The Presentation and Finals evening starts with doors open at 6.30 pm Monday 30th June.
First final at 6.45pm is the Hard Bat Doubles between the teams just mentioned. It will be best if 5 ends.
The next final after will be Handicap Singles Between Fin Hewson and Kevin Saunders, best of 5 ends.
Then it will be the Open Plate final between Janice Howell and Kerry Smith best of 5 ends.
We finish with the Open Final between Fin Hewson and Leigh McDonald.
Prize giving hopefully around 8pm followed by a buffet.
Buffet will consist of various sandwiches prepared by Janet, mini quiches/ pastries by Eileen,
scones by Val, a cake by Tim’s wife, cake by Mark’s wife.
If anyone else wishes to contribute please contact me so we know how to set the table.
Teas and coffees but any alcoholic or soft Drinks to be bought at the club bar.
Once again the finals night is to be recorded live on a DVD or MP4 stick.
Please let me know if you wish to have one . Cost yet to be determined.
Note there is no charge for attending the presentation evening.
